Jacob Zuma: He's a fighter

Jacob Zuma talks Mandela, Marikana and the ICC - FRANCE 24: "South African President Jacob Zuma described his ageing predecessor Nelson Mandela as a “fighter” whose health was showing sings of improvement in an exclusive interview with FRANCE 24 on Friday.

“He's a fighter. I think even the doctors admitted he is a born fighter because I think he has been able really to fight as he has done and really to a stage where you are able to see progress,” Zuma told FRANCE 24 the South African capital of Pretoria.

“(Mandela) does things other people could not do, and I think even the doctors admit that he is an amazing kind of man,” added Zuma."

‘Ancestors are keeping Mandela for us’ – Winnie - City Press: "Former president Nelson Mandela is doing fine, his former wife Winnie Madikizela-Mandela told the SABC on Sunday.

“He is fine, the spirits of Africa … his ancestors, our ancestors are keeping him for all of us,” she said.

Mandela is recovering at his home in Johannesburg after he was discharged from hospital last month."

Spokesman Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said the Toyota Quantum was towed away for obstruction from 12th Avenue and 4th Street after complaints of a disturbance in the Houghton area.

"Another three minibuses, a double cab and a Toyota Cruiser were left on the pavement in the residential area," he said.
